Stabilization of the glycine zwitterionic form by complexation with Na+ and Cl-: an ab initio study

Ab initio [MP2(full)/6-31G**] calculations predict that the glycine zwitterionic form bridged with NaCl is more stable than the isomeric complexes of the neutral forms. [References: 16]
