EDXRD apparatus can be improved by multiple angle scanning implementing a hybrid system that take advantage of shorter acquisition time and higher energy penetration in EDXRD, and of higher inter-planar distance resolution in ADXRD. Methods for hybrid data processing at low energy range using reflection detection mode are presented. Additional to the ED XRD-XRF spectrum directly acquired, a specially developed software extracts ADXRD from angle scanning data and builds 3D/2D plots showing the Iso-d curves, builds a hybrid diffractogram and identifies crystalline phase by dealing with corrections of line shifts due to different positioning of the irradiated spot on the cultural heritage object.
