摘要

Based on an 180t RH vacuum refining equipment, the physical simulation experimental device has been established according to the similarity criterion, and the circulation flow structure and mixing characteristics with different argon blowing flow rate in RH vacuum refining process have been investigatedusing the method of physical simulation and numerical simulation under the same vacuum degree. The circulation flow field and the gas holdup in the up-leg ofRH vacuum refining equipment have been obtained based on the Euler-Euler two-fluid model with the commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software FLUENT. The curves of the concentration-time have also been obtained by using of species transport equation. The results of numerical simulation and physical simulation are in good agreement, which can be used to optimize the geometric and operating parameters of RH refining equipment.
