2001: METRIC FEATURED IN NATIONAL RADIO SHOW

On July 22, 2001, the metric system was the subject of a major portion of a radio program produced by the Public Affairs Magazine radio show entitled Viewpoints, which was aired over many U.S. radio stations that day. Narrators of the show were Sandy Hoffman and Christopher Michael. The metric portion consisted of the views and comments of USMA President Lorelle Young and NIST's Program Office Director Gerard Iannelli.
