Anti-flex bridle system used in an electrical sheet tension leveling line

A linear clamping bridle system was installed as a tension unit in the exit section of a tension levelling line for the purpose of tension levelling annealed and temper-rolled semi-finished electrical sheet. Elongations up to and greater than 9 percent were achieved for annealed as well as temper-rolled strip. It was possible to correct coilset (longbow) and crossbow by altering the bending roll and correction roll settings.
