摘要

A new sinter plant waste-gas recycling system, referred to as the Eposint process, was jointly developed by Voestalpine Stahl and Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau (Siemens VAI) and implemented in the existing sinter plant of Voestalpine Stahl, Linz/Austria. This installation was carried out in conjunction with a sinter plant capacity-expansion project which was achieved by extending the sinter-strand length. The Eposint process was specifically developed to meet the demand by the municipal authorities that the quantity of sinter waste gas emitted to the environment does not exceed the previous levels before the expansion of the sintering capacity. This paper outlines the features of the Eposint process and the world's first industrial application at Voestalpine Stahl.
