Primetals Technologies to supply briquetting plant for voestalpine Stahl HBI plant in Corpus Christi

Primetals Technologies received an order from Corpus Christi, Texas, USA for a briquetting plant meant for complete recycling of dusts and sludges. Commissioning of the plant is expected in July 2016. Primetals Technologies in association with Midrex Technologies is building a direct reduction plant there which will be producing two million metric tonnes of hot briquetted iron (HBI) per annum.
