The coming year is likely to be characterised by more dividend cuts,capital raises, debt refinancing challenges, and impairments,analysts at Citi Research said in a note on Monday January 11.The year is also likely to see ratings downgrades, managementchanges, and a lack of buyers for assets up for sale, they said.There may be forced capacity closures, if not voluntary, especially innickel, the analysts added.
