Andrew Caplan has handed over his responsibilities for Glencore’salumina and aluminium businesses ahead of his leaving thecompany at the end of the summer, Metal Bulletin has learned.Caplan has led Glencore’s aluminium department since thesummer of 2013, when he took over the department from Gary Fegelfollowing a period of several months where Fegel’s involvementdecreased and Caplan’s ramped up.
