PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance communication reliability at soft hand-off.;SOLUTION: This mobile communication system is provided with a hand-off destination base station which is a hand-off destination of a mobile station, with a hand-off source base station being a hand-off source of the mobile station, and with a control station conducting 1st asynchronous communication with the hand-off destination base station to make communication of a 1st information sequence and conducting 2nd asynchronous communication with the hand-off source base station to make communication of a 2nd information sequence. The system is further provided with a 1st hand-off exclusive band reservation means that reserves the hand-off exclusive band, to warrant the communication speed of the 1st asynchronous communication at the soft hand-off and with a 2nd hand-off exclusive band reservation means that reserves the hand-off exclusive band to warrant the communication speed of the 2nd asynchronous communication at the soft hand-off and to communicate the 2nd information sequence of the same contents as those of the 1st information sequence synchronously with the 1st information sequence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
