Steelox Purchased By Investment Group

An investment group of former executives from the metal building industry and current management announced the purchase of Steelox Systems Inc., a Mason, OH-based manufacturer of metal building and metal roofing systems. Doug Reynolds, who brings more than 30 years' experience in senior positions with other metal building companies, heads the group. He will act as CEO of the new company. It will be known as Pyramid LLC."The company will continue to market the two brand names of Steelox Building Systems and Steelox Roofing Systems and Steelox Roofing Systems through its network of established builders and roofing contractors," said Reynolds. "The good name of Steelox, its recognition for superior engineering and its leadership position in architectural metal roofing, bolstered our excitement to acquire the company."
