Steelscape Introduces Clear-Coated Galvanized

Kalama, WA-based Steelscape Inc. has announced its development of a clear-coated galvanized substrate called TruZinc Plus. Similar to Galvalume Plus and Zincalume Plus, which feature an acrylic clear coat, Steelscape's newest product has a clear resin coating that resists fingerprints, smudges and scuffs.TruZinc Plus is applied in-line before the coiled steel is roll-formed. Unlike regular galvanized, no rollforming lubricants are needed to form TruZinc Plus stock into building panels and other profiled shapes.
