Architects can express their creativity in so many types of floating curves that it is hard to categorize the curves according to style. But then, that is why curves can demand our attention with their variety and sometimes incongruity. The most common curved soffit is one that curves in the plan view only. This type is built just like a little curved wall hanging from the structure above. From this humble but attractive beginning, architects also add curves in the vertical or elevation view.
