Metal Building System Plays Supporting Role In Rebuilding Of Community Theatre

Gladstone's original amphitheater, but it failed to quash the Missouri community's enthusiasm for the arts. Rising one year later from the ashes of that old structure was the brand new Gladstone Amphitheatre--bigger, better and fire resistant. Used for its construction was a metal building system from Ceco Building Systems, Columbus, MS. Williams Spurgeon Kuhl & Fresh nock Architects Inc. of North Kansas City, MO, designed the dollar450,000 structure. Mark Spurgeon, a principal with the firm, said the decision to go with a metal building was based on its ability to meet several program requirements.
