In 1981 Mr Ed Storms (Texas, USA) sent me some specimens of Lithops gesinae var. annae, C078. Later I noted that some of these plants had a slightly reddish shade, so I cross-pollinated them in October 1995. They produced fruits in April 1996, from which I obtained 125 seeds. I sowed these seeds in October 1996, and these produced 71 seedlings. When they completed their second year- in March 1998, six of them had an even stronger reddish pink. Four years have passed since then.
