DEFORMATION ACTION OF SCREW ROLLING ON A CAST WHEEL BILLET

摘要

Results are presented for an experimental study of the effect of screw rolling of solid billets on mechanicalproperties and macro structure of T grade wheel steel. It is shown that piercing of continuous billets with adrawing factor λ = 1.6 makes it possible to work a cast structure, improve ductility properties, and impactload resistance.
