A New Development of the 'J-STIMS' Solution in Spatio-Temporal Information Management Sub-System

One of the features of the Spatio-Temporal information management sub-system "J-STIMS" is that all the updated data obtained through overwriting by an ordinary GIS are accumulated in the database together with the existence time data and that the geographical situation at an arbitrary time point can be taken out whenever this time point is specified. Several years ago, Meidensha Corporation developed the city water conduit facility management system. Since then, the Company has evolved the GIS-related business regularly and continuously developed many kinds of business systems based on the "J-STIMS". Based on the abundance of such business system development experience, and on the basis of the outstanding features of the "J-STIMS", the Company has recently developed the next-generation standard package that is capable of business data management and spatial analysis with time series, and offering newer functions such as geographical presentation.
