Whenever surface wind is reported 2≥15knots (including gusts), with precipitation, Low Level Vertical Wind Shear can be forecast below 1000 ft. During dry weather, if there is a difference of 9 knots between surface and 500 ft. winds and any two consecutive level winds below 5000 ft., Low Level Vertical Wind Shear can be forecast.
