摘要

What problems were addressed? The undergraduate medicine curriculum at Shifa College of Medicine emphasises the doctor roles identified in the CanMEDS framework. The competencies defined are customised to meet our social, cultural and communal values and epidemiological requirements. We believe in sensitising our students to these competencies in a process that starts as they enter medical school and continues throughout the course of studies.
