Zinc prices, like most of the other base metals, have been under significantdownward pressure in recent weeks. After the March-May rally, pricesdropped to fresh multi-year lows at $1,906/tonne, then rebounded to$2,117.50/tonne before once again heading lower, this time to $1,882.50/tonne. This has taken prices back to levels not seen since December 2013.
