TENDER FOR THE COLLECTION AND RECYCLING OF TEXTILES FROM HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRES IN HERTFORDSHIRE

The County Council of Hertfordshire is seeking facilities for the collection and recycling of textiles collected at its household waste recycling centres and invites applications from suitably experienced contractors who have such facilities within a reasonable travelling distance of the County boundary to collect, weigh and process such waste. There are currently 19 centres handling approximately 1,050 tonnes of textile waste per annum. Contractors who are interested in tendering for the collection and recycling of textiles are invited to apply to: Hertfordshire County Council, Environment Department, Waste Management Unit, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford SG13 8DN, giving details of available facilities and the names of two referees to whom similar services are or have been provided.
