The Sixth Conference on the Modelling of Permeable Rocks

The aim of this conference was to bring together scientists from arange of disciplines who are interested in modelling permeablerocks for applications in the oil industry, hydrogeology, nuclearwater disposal or CO2 storage. The sixth conference was held inEdinburgh, and was attended by 38 delegates, working in thefields of mathematics, physics, engineering and geology. We had aspecial emphasis on CO2 storage, which is becoming a veryimportant topic for numerical modelling.
