MOST OF THE major global coal equities were higher over the past month, though there were notable declines in both Australia and the US, which left the MCR share list, compiled by Credit Suisse, mixed overall. In terms of the global diversified majors, most were higher, with the exception of Rio Tinto's Australian listing, which declined 1%. However, it's UK listing added 2% on the period.
