Australian-listed Atrum Coal said it has approached UK-basedAtlantic Carbon Group about a possible takeover offer for all ofAtlantic Carbon’s shares.“Atrum has 28 days to either announce the details of a takeoveroffer or advise that it will not make an offer for the remainingshares in ACG,” the company said. “If Atrum announces that it willbe proceeding with a takeover offer, then Atrum will have 28 daysto submit an offer document to the shareholders of ACG outliningthe details and terms of the offer.
