Science meets art in handy guide

摘要

I developed an interest in scientific writing when I found it was an essential part of science and that I was not very good at it.I did something about it,and have subsequently been able to help students and others to develop their skills.I believe that difficulties in presenting scientific concepts and data in written form arise for a number of reasons.Firstly,the temptation to relegate writing to a secondary role of scientific research,secondly,the act of writing is the sum of a number of parts,some of which may not be evident,and thirdly,the variations in writers,types of documents and target readers.
