Ashland Casting Solutions opens office in Russia

In an effort to best respond to the growing needs of metal casting professionals in Russia, Ashland Casting Solutions, a business group of Ashland Specialty Chemical, has opened a new office in St Petersburg. The new office was opened in conjunction with a non-exclusive distribution agreement between Ashland Casting Solutions and Composite Trade LLC of St Petersburg, Russia. They will work together to introduce Ashland binder and refractory coating products to the Russian metal casting market. 'We are extremely excited about entering the Russian market with a great line of casting products,' said Mike Swartzlander, vice president, Ashland Specialty Chemical, and general manager, Ashland Casting Solutions. 'We have been very active in our efforts to build our business in Russia.'
