Members and guests experienced a very interesting and unique technical presentation given by Ashland Casting Solutions during January. This highly innovative technical meeting, chaired by Russell Howe, contained presentations on a variety of different foundry topics using the internet based WebEx technology. Each individual presentation centred on a PowerPoint slide show, transmitted and controlled by Ashland, USA, with running commentary provided either by a conference call link from the same location or by a 'real' presenter from within the room.
