摘要

The authors report a case of malignant, biphasic, perianal collision skin tumour. The histopathological analysis revealed that the malignant mesenchymal component of the tumour was differentiated mixed type, cavernosus-capillary type cutan hemangiosarcoma, whereas the epithelial component was differentiated hepatoid cell carcinoma, originated from circumanal glands. During the immunohistochemical investigations both components of the tumour showed claudin-5 positivity. This is the first report of a similar case in the veterinary scientific literature. By the description of the case the authors wish to highlight the importance of the postoperative histopathology in the small animal practice that can be completed with immunohistochemical analysis in neoplastic cases.
