David Malin is determined to succeed! Working alone, he set up DJM Precision Engineering on a small industrial estate at Litchborough near Towcester in August 2003, re-mortgaging his house to buy a new Citizen L20 CMC sliding-head auto from NC Engineering Ltd, Bushey (Tel: 01923 691500). He devoted all his time and energy to his new company, and within six months he had added a fixed-head bar-fed CNC lathe. With his competitive pricing and willingness to service customers, the business grew fast, and he bought a second Citizen L20 in April 2004.
