摘要

The fractional free volume f of polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is determined by pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) measurements using the Simha-Somcynsky equation of state. Results are compared with the free volume obtained by viscoelastic measurements. Temperature and pressure dependent viscosity and free volume results are correlated using the characteristic ratio C-infinity and the parameter B of the monomeric friction factor zeta = zeta exp B/f. This leads to obtain new results on the temperature and pressure dependence of C-infinity, as well as on the pressure dependence of B parameter.
