Related Fluid Power has built its business on the ability to deliver a wide variety of hydraulic manifolds to a broad customer base. Many of these products are designed specifically for individual customers, so flexibility in the manufacturing operation is a vital ingredient to its on-going success. From when it was formed in 1975, Related Fluid Power recognized that it had to be innovative if it was to compete successfully on a global scale (the company was one of the first to introduce screw-in cartridge valves to the UK market). At the outset, Related Fluid Power had just three valves in its range, but today the range extends to over 500 different cartridge valves. These are used in an even greater number of manifold block variants and in a diversity of applications, including agricultural equipment, machine tools, access equipment and mechanical-handling systems.
