Section Reports

This year the Canadian Section meeting of the ASGS was held at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario on September 12, 2015. For the meeting, we joined up with the "Glass Gathering" hosted at the Sheridan College Glass Studio which over 250 glass workers attended. There were many forms of glass media, anything from hot shop to flameworking, fusing, slumping and kiln casting. It was an all-time high for our attendance this year: 18 Canadian Section members were there from Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario and even some good friends from Detroit. It was great to have two of our retired members attend; Jack Legge and Fred Leslie.
