With the summer months upon us again, the demand for ice cream is increasing. Most ice cream lovers immediately think of those pointed, cone-shaped wafer products when they ask for an 'ice cream'. Certainly, not many people will ever has given much thought to the production processes involved. In fact, manufacturers offer a far greater range of products than just the standard cone. With the necessary know-how and the right equipment, a whole array of shapes are possible, including cups and shell-shaped products, figures, fantasy shapes, double cones, cones with wavy edges and many more.
