Sodick satisfies demand for large die wire-cut

In response to the growing demand for large dies, particularly in the automotive sector for instrument panels and bumpers, and in electronics, for flat screen television systems, Sodick (agent: Sodi-Tech EDM) has created a new large linear motor wire EDM machine. The AQ900L, developed from the successful AQ750L, utilises the latest and largest in Sodick's wire-cut EDM technology and features optimised 3D design using CAE analysis. Axis travels are 900 by 600 by 400 mm in x, y and z, respectively, with u and v travels of 920 and 620 mm.
