Fosetyl-Al new formula studies to counter citrus Phytophthora gummosis.

摘要

Phytophthora gummosis, caused by P. citrophthora is one of the main diseases of citrus trees in Corsica. For 4 years, trials have been conducted to develop formulations with long-term preventative and curative activity. Fosetyl-Al silicone soaked collars stapled to the trunks gave very encouraging results: the preventative effect of the treatment lasted more than a year and the curative effectiveness was as good as that obtained with the currently recommended treatment (foliar spraying).
