The halls of the world's largest trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management, TransportLogistic, were buzzing: More than 51,000 trade visitors from 134 countries attended the exhibition, a plus of 7%. "The atmosphere was positive, very forward-looking really. The sector finds itself in a strong upwards trend," said Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München. The economic upswing was noticeable in the halls. Business is picking up again and the logistics sector is the first to feel the recovery in industry. The audience was top class and they came to Munich not only to gather information but also to discuss and take decisions on investment, confirmed several industry representatives.
