Natural gas spot prices will remain below 4/Mcf until seasonal heating demand kicks in this fall, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported in its Short-Term Energy and Summer Fuels Outlook (STEO) released 4/14/09. The Henry Hub gas spot price is expected to average 4.24/Mcf in 2009, down by more than half from the 9.13 average in 2008. The forecast for 2010 is 5.83/Mcf.
