Indicated Shippers Seek Clarification from FERC on the Standing of Imperial Oil to Intervene And/or Protest the Rate Case of Enbridge Pipelines (Southern Lights)

Imperial Oil, a partnership of Imperial Oil Ltd. and McColl-Frontenac Petroleum Inc., and ExxonMobil Oil Corp. (together, Indicated Shippers) recently requested rehearing and/or clarification of a FERC order on June 29 in which the Commission denied Imperial standing in the suspended rate proceeding involving Enbridge Pipelines (Southern Lights) LLC (IS10-399). Indicated Shippers now request rehearing of the Commission's ruling denying imperial standing to protest. In the alternative, if the Commission denies the request for rehearing, Indicated Shippers request rehearing or clarification that the Commission's order did not intend to dismiss Imperial entirely as a party to the case and that Imperial is an intervenor in the proceeding. Imperial wishes to participate in the settlement conference that is scheduled for July 27th and has notified all the parties. No party has objected.
