Following on a hunch expressed last year, on 5/6/08 Williams announced that Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corp. is holding a binding open season from May 6 to June 2 to obtain shipper commitments for an all-in-one gas pipeline expansion that aims to link natural gas supplies originating from the Rockies, Appalachia, and the emerging Marcellus shale supply regions in southwestern New York and western Pennsylvania to the East Coast.
