FERC OKs Transco's Delta Lateral Project in Pennsylvania

On 10/28/09 FERC granted Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC (CP09-237) authorization to construct a 3.42-mile, 16-inch diameter pipeline and appurtenant facilities in York County, Pennsylvania (Delta Lateral) subject to certain conditions. The Delta Lateral will extend from Transco's mainline at Station 195 to a natural gas and oil-fired electric power generation plant currently under construction in Peach Bottom Township, Pennsylvania (Delta Power Plant). The Delta plant will be owned and operated by Conectiv Mid Merit, LLC (CMM). The maximum capacity of the Delta Lateral is 208,800 dth/d. Transco estimates the total construction cost for the Delta Lateral and related facilities to be $12,527,931.
