摘要

They say that it's an ill wind that blows no one any good and that's certainly true in the case of Richard Davies because the horrendous storms in southern England in 1987, although very bad news for many, brought him a financial windfall. Richard's main work is as an agricultural contractor but a profitable sideline is his firewood business. The business has altered over the years. At one time he could rely on getting wind-blown trees from farms for free or perhaps by keeping the farmer happy by doing some work for him with his JCB. But that source of wood is running out, and now he is forced to buy in supplies.
