Innovation is buzzword at BIM seafood conference: Delegates told: innovation is key to successful business development

INNOVATION, branding and communication were the recurring themes throughout the Waves of Innovation Irish seafood conference, held in Dublin this autumn. As around 100 representatives from over 50 Irish seafood companies gathered at the Irish Management Institute, several fundamental issues were addressed. These included: a global review of the fish and seafood market, examining recent trends and product launches; analysis of consumers' wants and needs, looking specifically at added value; new product development; regulatory and technical specifications; and workshops focusing on innovation, branding and communication.
