Sustainable coastal aquaculture in China: The European Union SPEAR project

摘要

IN 2004, the European Union financed a research project entitled Sustainable options for PEople, catchment and Aquatic Resources (SPEAR). This project was framed in the INCO-DEV programme, with its focus on mutually beneficial and equitable partnership in research between the Community and its Member States on the one hand and INCO target countries on the other.Activities should lend support to implementation of the Community's foreign policy, trade and development aid policies, whilst strengthening, developing and consolidating EU Partner countries' research systems as a means of reinforcing synergies.
