The long awaited Komatsu eight wheel harvester is here at last. This, several new forwarders and a number of heads were all shown working in the forest near Umea during this year's 'Komatsu Days' in the middle of May.Komatsu had actually done a good job keeping their products secret. Normally, a picture of a prototype, possibly in a misleading colour, sneaks its way onto the web, but while it was widely known that an eight wheel harvester was about to see the light of day, further details, as to its size, for instance, remained rather sketchy.
