Two trenches dug at the front~of the property will establish whether the roots of a council-owned London plane tree are encroaching into the font garden boundary. To .the rear of the property, three trenches will determine whether the proposed new foundation's -will disturb the roots of a nefghbour-owned mature pear tree, a . neighbour-owned mature birch tree, and a client-owned mature horse chestnut.
