Last year I lost my balance and ended up having knee surgery, which put me out of kilter for some time. Unfortunately it also meant I couldn't enjoy my surprise birthday present, however, as the voucher was valid for a whole year, I've just used it (two weeks before it was due to run out) — a trial flight in a glider.
