The innovative chocolate company Kshocoiat, has attracted a ￡1m investment. Initially an entrepreneurial start-up, this is the first time that external investment has been sought and will allow aggressive expansion plans to be put in place. The investment will allow the company to commit to enlarging the warehousing and logistics facilities, strengthening the sales and marketing team and increasing the marketing spend, which will increase from ￡40k in 2007 to nearly ￡500k in 2008. Overall, the company aims to grow retail sales by 300% by the end of the year.
