Signals grow over new oPeC cut extension

London-The OPEC/non-OPEC production cuts appear headed for an additional extension of three months, with officials from the coalition saying Thursday that the issue likely would be discussed at their November 30 meeting. Sources have told SP Global Platts that Saudi Arabia and Russia, the world's largest producer, have discussed extending the deal past its March expiry through June, to bolster trader confidence that the 24 participants in the cuts will not flood the market the minute the pact expires.
