Canaport about to start operations; MapleLNG and Keltic less certain

Canada's first LNG terminal, CanaportLNG, just east of St John, NB is over 95% complete and will receive its first shipment from Trinidad at the end of May. One tank is complete, the second is being finished and the third will be ready at the end of the year or early next year. The Brunswick Pipeline connecting Canaport to the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline at the US border is also mechanically complete and just requires some “cleanup” work in the spring before it will be ready to transport the gas to the US. Canaport is owned 75% by Repsol of Spain and 25% by Irving.
