Brazil’s MOP imports for Jan- Jun 2014 up 27% on 2013 and heading for new record

The latest data from the Brazilian syndicate show a 27% rise in imports in the first six months of the year relative to 2013. In real terms, this is an increase of nearly 1mn tonnes. The figures from ANDA for July show imports of 766,000t, 4.4% lower than the same month of 2013.
